A warm welcome awaits at Tarnside
Tarnside Lodges are a unique place to stay. Surrounded by beautiful views of Talkin Tarn, in the Cumbrian countryside close to Hadrians Wall and the historic city of Carlisle.
The cottages are owned by Grand National Hero Maurice Barnes and his wife Anne. Both cottages have wood burning stoves (logs are provided free of charge) and a complementary bottle of wine and a combination of fresh eggs or chocolates are part of the friendly welcome.
AMAZON AND NETFLIX!
Both cottages now have good Wifi and the option of using a Firestick, please ask on arrival. This means you will be able to access your own Amazon and Netflix accounts here at Tarnside.
PROPERTY INFO
Both cottages have a double and a twin room. The double is upstairs via a beautiful spiral staircase, the twin on the ground floor. Both cottages sleep 4 + 1 cot.
THE AMENITIES
Kitchens are well fitted out with dishwasher, microwave, cooker and hob, electric steamer and sandwich maker

Both cottages have built in wardrobes, a chest of drawers, bedside table (with spare plug for phone chargers!) and a hair drier.
